The
central theme of the New Testament is that those who are
born again by the Spirit of God are to continue to grow
in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, so they can be
used of God as His witnesses – billboards of the eternal
difference He can make in a life that is yielded unto
Him. The goal of that growth is that we become
completely conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.
(Romans 8:29)
While today’s entertainment-based worship services may
be vibrant, relevant and emotionally stirring, the fact
is they offer very little challenge to the believer to
strengthen or deepen their faith. Even with all of the
technological advances in information dissemination, the
majority of believers today still cannot articulate what
they believe regarding the basic fundamentals of the
Christian faith or why they believe it.
The purpose of Mature
Ministries is to provide solid,
biblical materials –
books, workbooks, tapes, seminars, revivals, retreats
and even personal assistance, in an effort to encourage
God’s people to raise the Standard of righteousness in
their lives – their walk with the Lord and their witness
for the Lord – “until we all attain to the unity of
the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a
mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs
to the fullness of Christ.” (Eph. 4:13)
